Rinsite is added to the final rinse of plating or metal cleaning operations at 1/8 to 1/2 of 1% by volume of water. Slightly higher concentrations may be desirable with cold rinse water. Temperatures may vary from 10 °C to 60 °C (50 °F to 140 °F).
The assure corrosion prevention properties, the non-oily, rust-retarding film that Gardobond Additive H 6994 provides should not be rinsed off the work.
Concentrations are titrated using Gardotest Procedure 52.
Sample Size: 10.0 mls
Factor: 0.18 (% b.v.)
The Chemetall Metering System can be used to automatically predilute and deliver the chemical to the point of application. Please contact the Chemetall Process Equipment and Engineering Department for specific recommendations.
(See Safety Data Sheet) Avoid contact or mixing with acids.
