Operation: Use TECNOCLEAN in immersion tanks at the following parameters.
Concentration 2 – 10% by volume
Temperature 70 – 120 °F (21 – 49 °C)
Time 5 – 10 minutes
The optimum concentration, temperature and immersion time depend on degree of agitation, amount and type of soils, amount of oxide, and extent of soil build-up in solution and can vary from these general recommendations.
Lower temperatures may require longer immersion times and/or higher concentrations for example. Your Chemetall Technical Sales Representative will recommend the best parameters for your application.
Bath Make-Up:
Fill the tank 3/4 full with fresh water. Add quantity of TECNOCLEAN sufficient to make the recommended concentration.
Fill the tank with water to the operating level and mix thoroughly to ensure uniform solution concentration.
Increase temperature to normal operating range.
Solution Control: To determine concentration, use Gardotest Procedure 218. Sample Size: 2 mL Factor: 1.0
